Privacy

MemeLid is a small SOL auction for spots on a MacBook lid. This page is what actually happens with your data — not a 12-page policy copied from a bank.

What we store

When you use the site we may keep:

• Your Solana wallet address
• Bid amounts, transaction signatures, and which lid spot you bid on
• Token name, ticker, and logo image you upload for a spot
• A hash of your passphrase (not the passphrase itself)
• IP address, used only to rate-limit uploads and bids

Winning logos are meant to be shown in public — on this site and on the laptop lid. Treat anything you upload as public.

What we do not store

• Private keys or seed phrases (never send those to anyone)
• Your email — there is no mailing list
• Payment cards or KYC documents

On-chain data

Bids settle on Solana. Wallet addresses, amounts, and transaction IDs are public on the chain and on explorers like Solscan. We cannot make that private.

Your browser

If you sign up, we save a session (wallet + passphrase) in localStorage on your device so you can stay signed in. Clearing site data logs you out. We never ask for your wallet private key.

Who else sees this

Hosting, database, and Solana RPC providers process the traffic needed to run the auction. We do not sell your information. We do not run ads.
