By using memelid.fun you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not bid. This is a personal project, not a registered exchange or investment product.

What MemeLid is

MemeLid auctions ten spots on a MacBook lid. Highest valid bid on a spot when the round ends gets that spot for the following week, subject to the site working as described. The operator is an individual running this as a fundraiser, not a company with a legal department.

Bids and escrow

• You send SOL to the published escrow address for that round. Escrow is custodial: the operator's key moves funds for refunds and settlement. That is a real risk.
• If you are outbid, the site is built to refund your previous high bid. Timing, RPC issues, or bugs can delay that. Do not bid money you cannot wait on.
• Minimums and increments are shown in the bid flow. Invalid or reused transactions do not count.
• Confirm you are on the network the site shows (for example, Devnet while the site is in test mode). Mainnet SOL sent to a Devnet escrow is not a bid we can credit.

Logos

Only upload art you have the right to use. By uploading, you let MemeLid display that image on the site and on the physical lid for the relevant week. We can reject or replace content that is illegal, impersonating, or clearly abusive.

No promises

Memecoins are speculative. A lid spot is advertising on a laptop, not a listing, partnership, or financial advice. Auctions can be paused, reset, or ended if something is broken or abused. The site can go down. Apple is not involved — see the footer disclaimer.

Your account

Keep your passphrase and wallet. We cannot recover a lost passphrase the way an email login would. You are responsible for SOL you send to escrow.
